News Update – click here for a video interview with Phillip McCallen introducing the Classic Bike Festival Ireland.

Classic Bike Festival Ireland will be an annual motorcycle racing event held at Bishopscourt where owners and riders of classic racing motorcycles can enjoy track time and spectators a long-awaited opportunity to see riders and machines from previous forgotten eras. There will also be covered static displays, other motorcycle performances, club displays and an Auto jumble, stay in touch through social media to be the first to hear about exciting announcements.

The event is organised by the Revival Racing Motorcycle Club whose Directors are Phillip McCallen and Robin Titterington, the club is affiliated to MCUI (UC) and will run under MCUI rules and regulations. Both the Revival Racing MCC and Classic Bike Festival Ireland‘s objectives are to promote and encourage the sport of classic motorcycling racing for machines from previous era’s bringing back what we know were the glory days of racing in the 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s where 2-strokes ruled the smaller classes and battled with the big 4-strokes in the larger classes. In our first year we will be offering parade and track laps for all riders and machines. In future years when there is enough interest then races will be also included in the programme.

Club Members – New club members are more than welcome to join and we encourage all riders and supporters to join the Revival Racing MCC and be involved in The Classic Bike Festival Ireland. It is the club’s intention to run events and races that the members want, so please see the Revival Racing MCC website for more information and how to join and become a member.

Riders & Machines – The Classic Bike Festival Ireland welcome riders of all classic racing motorcycles from previous eras. Other special and important racing machines from other eras are more than welcome as the club and therefore the Festival will be inclusive, not exclusive. Riders will need a current MCUI race licence, however for those that don’t, a parade licence can be obtained through Revival Racing MMC to allow them to take part in this event.
